How To View Gifs On Windows 7
Why doesn't Windows 7 evidence GIF images ?
I had few GIF images in my information since Windows XP, in Windows XP, I was able to see the moving GIF images but since I upgraded to Widnows 7, they turned into still images and not the moving ones. Why?

Hi Yozuru,Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) is supported past Windows seven. You can use Windows Photo Viewer to view the pictures.Refer:Agreement picture file typeshttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-U.s.a./windows7/Understanding-picture-file-typesHowever, animated GIF files aren't fully supported. For this file format, you can view the still image but not the animation.Hope this information helps.Yous can always open animated .gif with Internet browser. It's going to bear witness animation without any problem.

If you want to view the animated GIF, yous can either open up it in a browser or install an image viewer that tin can display them. If yous don't want to download anything, opening in a browser is a good mode to become (in fact, the default on my system is to open .gif files with Internet Explorer, even though Chrome is my default browser..). If y'all don't mind using another file viewer, endeavor out IrfanView (http://world wide web.irfanview.com/). Hopefully in future versions of Windows, there will exist support for animated gifs.
